KinetiX launches VillagesWV.com

KinetiX and Barbour County CDC are developing a state-wide website to allow small and micro business people to sell their products and services online with lots of hand-holding and technical help.  "It is our goal to make the world markets assessable to West Virginia entrepreneurs without the sometimes daunting task of taking on the world solo," says Norvill Clark, Executive Director of KinetiX.  An example of the power of global niche marketing is the work KinetiX is doing with a group of young auto enthusiasts in Beckley.  We are helping a car club develop their online presence.  In just five months, members of this organization have been able to find, refurbish and sell nine older vehicles, primarily Chevrolet automobiles.  Sales have been to customers in surrounding states; with inquiries even coming from Pacific rim countries.   "This group is benefiting directly from the power of niche marketing.  We anticipate similar results for VillagesWV.com participants."


Gwen Hagaman, KinetiX, Inc. President, succinctly states the goals of this Project "First, we want to get small and micro-businesses selling their products and services online.  Secondly, we want these entrepreneurs to learn how eCommerce works by experiencing the process firsthand and lastly, we want these businesses to expand their use of the Internet in the sales process."


Another project we are excited about involves a couple of game enthusiasts; we are assisting them in locating other gamers who may need their database services.  "These two young men have the technical expertise and computer equipment to support a couple of online games that are in need of specialized support.  We have already reached two organizations showing interest in the services these gentlemen can provide.  Summarizing KinetiX's expectations of this Project, Norvill Clark states, "we fully expect that by July 2009, these two entrepreneurs will be providing database, server and other support services to gamers throughout the world; at a substantial profit."


"There are no guarantees that your product or service will be successful through the use of Internet marketing", states Norvill Clark, "but if your organization wants to substantially increase the odds for success and if you want to dramatically increase your market reach and potential we encourage you to participate in the monthly courses that we will be providing throughout the state over the next several months." 

In these monthly training sessions we will identify and provide the tools, techniques and strategies used to successfully develop a niche Internet market.
